Woodpulp boards

Woodpulp boards are produced from groundwood pulp to maximise the bulk of the product and raw material efficiency. The unique drying concept (Condebelt®) contributes to a smooth surface while maintaining an exceptional bulk. These factors result in extraordinary high thickness in relation to weight. Woodpulp boards are used in demanding lamination constructions such as picture frames, display boards, luxury packaging and food applications where purity, stiffness and bulk are required.

PankaMax

PankaMax is an extra-bulky uncoated board for various applications containing a high share of groundwood pulp. The substance and thickness ratio has been maximised for applications where thickness, bulk and purity are required. The product is used in, but not limited to, various industrial end-uses such as laminating baseboard for displays, laminated food trays and underlays (salmon, cheese, bakery products). PankaMax is available in substances from 210 g/m2 up to 650 g/m2 (1.75 mm). PankaMax is always supplied with all layers hard sized for optimal performance in food service and laminated end uses.

PankaSilk

PankaSilk is primarily produced from groundwood pulp, which results in a remarkable bulk in combination with a smooth surface achieved by BM3’s Condebelt® drying technology. PankaSilk is widely used, for example, in the picture framing industry, as the middle layer in high-quality display boards and POS (point of sales) products where smoothness, purity and high yield are required. The product is available in substances from 210 g/m2 up to 570 g/m2 (1.2 mm). PankaSilk is pH neutral.
