Welcome onBoard - Pankaboard
We specialise in boards for packaging and graphical end uses; from two distinctly different board machines. Our board grades are closely tailored to meet specific converter and end-user needs, and we handle small and large deliveries through a flexible logistics system.
PankaBoard is the world leader in high thickness folding boxboards, with grammages extending from 275 g/m2 up to an exceptional 560 g/m2. These coated boards are produced on BM2. Typical end uses are packaging applications requiring high stiffness and excellent printability in combination with cost efficiency in the value chain. Please discover more under the theme "The Heavyweight Contender”.
Pankaboard is also a significant supplier of solid bleached board for the food and graphical industries as well as groundwood boards for special end uses and applications. These grades are produced on BM3.
Solid bleached boards are typically used in ovenable trays, while groundwood boards are highly versatile and especially suitable where significant stiffness and bulk are required. Such typical end-uses are display laminates, passepartouts, interleaving etc.
BM3’s unique Condebelt drying technology provides good smoothness and printability in combination with an exceptional bulk.
